The Walled Garden at Applecross on the West coast of Scotland in late April. Whilst the garden itself is slow to stir, the old gardeners bothay is brimming with time worn tools and vintage gardening equipment, a real treat. The Potting Shed cafe and restaurant is open for business, day and evening, with fabulously fresh seafood and , in season, produce from the garden.

Nestled into a creek along the coast, an up ended rowing boat serves as a weathered seat, a place to sit and ponder in this peaceful garden haven.
